On our big foodie night in the old quarter of Hanoi we tried all kinds of Vietnamese street food. There was lots of Pho, soups with noodles, grilled pork and Bun Cha. We had Vietnamese rice pancakes stuffed with pork and mushrooms, and of course a few cocktails and some beer. The streets are buzzing at night. There are people everywhere sitting outside of the small restaurants and bars. It is definitely an eye full.
While in Hanoi, we were fortunate enough to get tickets to go see the very popular water puppet show. It was something quite different, and the music represents not only the story, but ancient instruments from Vietnam. It is a one of a kind type of entertainment I have never seen before.
