On our way to the Florida Keys, we stoped in St Augustine. We have never been here before but sure glad we spent a few days. The beach areas are very nice as you would expect, but the old downtown is the place to see. Great town to walk and see historic buildings and an old fort. Castillo de San Marcos is the oldest and largest masonry fort in the continental US. It's quite spectacular. There is an old cobble stone road (St George Street) with many restaurants and shops that is a great hang out day or night. Really loved this part of Florida. Give it a look if your south of Jacksonville.
Enjoy every minute my friends ,
