We had an incredible opportunity to join some friends who live in our community on a beautiful yacht in Croatia. Dan and Marilyn Grenci had done this trip in 2022 and wanted to do it again. We had 18 people from our community plus their friends and family to fill up the 150 foot yacht. This boat was built in 2022 and it is very modern and beautifully put together.
Once we were at sea, each day we would go to a different island and explore a new town. On the way we would stop at some beautiful bay or cove and swim for a few hours. All of the islands have historic old cities that date back to the 11th and 12th century.
We all met in the town of Split, Croatia where we boarded our boat called The Oscar, and headed out into the Adriatic Sea. While in Split we had time to explore the city and get a taste of what Croatia was going to be like. All of the cities in Croatia on the islands and on the mainland were build centuries ago. It is amazing how these towns and cities have been able to keep the beautiful old stone walkways and limestone buildings. There's really nothing like it anywhere else that we have been.
