If you like music and you like bourbon you have to go to Louisville in September for the Bourbon and beyond festival. This four day festival has tons of music each day and all the Brands and styles of Bourbon you could possibly ask for. My festival buddies, Chris Lancey and Brad Blietz, and I saw the schedule of amazing bands that were playing in Louisville and we all decided we had to go.
Jack white, Alanis Morissette, Pearl Jam, Greta Van Fleet, the Doobie Brothers, The Revivalists, Crowded House, St. Vincent, Chris Stapleton and many more all took the stage at the Highland festival grounds at the Kentucky expo center. Four wonderful days of music and bourbon. We had a great time. There are giant bourbon bar all around. And the food was pretty good too. I highly recommend it. The festival is very well organized and easy to get to and from. I suggest getting a hotel very close so you can walk if possible. Here is a taste of the music from each day.
