LA—oh LA. How can you be so beautiful and yet so difficult. Coming back to the city that we've lived in for the last 20 years was a little bit strange. It felt like we had been gone much longer than three months. LA is really a beautiful place and it has the best weather in the US hands down, but we somehow forgot how really awful the traffic is here and how when you finally get to your destination there is nowhere to park.
What happens in LA is that you stay very close to home and do everything in a small area because it is so difficult to get anywhere most of the time. It's very sad when your personal life is so heavily dictated by the traffic patterns. It's been great seeing our old friends and of course spending time with Michelle and James but I really do feel like we are over LA. I was wondering if we would be home sick once we got here but other than the people we miss we are ready to move on from California.
